In 2016, WESTIR Limited undertook an evaluation on the Settlement Services International (SSI) Community Kitchen program in Auburn, Western Sydney. This evaluation assesses the delivery and impact made by the program on its clients and stakeholders. The Community Kitchen is a fortnightly run kitchen that provides a community space for asylum seekers to build their social networks, and provide a space to share their skills and develop a sense of belonging in the SSI community.
