Socio-Economic Index For Areas (SEIFA) In Greater Western Sydney – December 2023

This paper summarises the Socio-Economic Index for Areas in the Local Government Areas of Greater Sydney and Greater Western Sydney, utilising the 2021 Census data provided by the Australian Bureau of Statistics. The paper is valuable for relevant stakeholders in determining areas requiring funding, conducting social and economic research. It also assists in exploring the relationship between socio-economic disadvantage and various social outcomes; and, facilitating strategic planning and service/program design. Each LGA has the SEIFA index mapped.
